We have an opening for an IT/Technical Facilities Coordinator to provide local IT support and coordinate various aspects of maintenance for Sword's offices in Geneva.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate IT and Facilities issues, projects and activities, and respond to all emergency maintenance requests.
  • Use helpdesk tracking software to track and resolve IT and Facilities issues onsite, and escalate to Management as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain assigned IT resources, infrastructure and network (hardware, wifi).
  • Handle support issues related to videoconferencing, copiers, scanners, printers, security system, phones, PCs, applications, and network or Internet access.
  • Serve as on-site "helping hand" for IT efforts, as needed.
  • Other duties, as assigned.



Job requirements

  • HIgh scholl diploma in IT or related technical field
  • Any IT-related certification is a plus
  • No minimum experience required but interest in IT helpdesk or customer tech support, including general network connectivity/security and desktop support principles.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft O365 products (networking, troubleshooting of installed and Internet-based software applications, and user account passwords and share permissions).
  • Experience and familiarity with commonly used IT tools.
  • Ability to communicate orally and written in a professional manner: French and English.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work well both alone and in a distributed team setting, with emphasis on excellent customer service.

This position is based in Geneva with some travel to Lausanne that may be required (10%).
