Job description

We are opening a Senior Integration Architect position to strengthen a team based in Geneva. In this role, you will help define and evolve the integration architecture of complex information systems. You will work across cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring reliable, secure, scalable, and high-performing communication between applications, platforms, and services.

Job Responsabilities

  • Lead architectural activities related to system integration across large-scale IT initiatives.

  • Contribute to defining, evolving, and implementing an enterprise-wide integration strategy.

  • Design integration architectures and formulate technical proposals addressing the requirements of new projects.

  • Establish architectural models, integration patterns, technical standards, and best practices to support project teams.

  • Develop roadmaps to help existing or non-compliant solutions progressively align with established integration principles and standards.

  • Advise technical teams on the design and deployment of secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available integration solutions.

  • Produce architecture deliverables such as blueprints, data-flow diagrams, API specifications, and other technical design documentation.

  • Collaborate closely with development, IT operations, security, business analysis, and architecture teams to ensure consistency across solutions.

Job requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field combined with substantial professional experience in integration architecture and complex enterprise IT environments.

  • Strong track record in designing and implementing large-scale integration solutions spanning both cloud and on-premises infrastructures.

  • In-depth knowledge of API architecture and lifecycle management, including API design, API gateways, management platforms, and API security.

  • Strong understanding of integration platforms, middleware technologies, ETL/data integration processes, and data exchanges between heterogeneous systems.

  • Sound knowledge of secure data-transfer practices, including encryption and related information-security principles.

  • Ability to design robust integration architectures incorporating high availability, scalability, resilience, load balancing, fault tolerance, and auto-scaling.

  • Professional certification in cloud architecture or integration technologies, such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or equivalent, would be an advantage.

  • Excellent command of English and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical, business, and senior stakeholders.
