Job description
We are opening a position of Senior INFORMATICA MDM / RDM Consultant to strengthen the team of our client. The role supports the deployment of a formal Master Data Management and Data Governance framework, with INFORMATICA selected as the strategic Master and Reference Data Management platform. The initial focus covers Customer/Party master data and Geographic reference data, which are foundational for business operations, analytics, reporting, and external data exchanges.
The consultant will work closely with an implementation partner during delivery and will subsequently assume full technical and functional ownership of the INFORMATICA platform.
Job responsibilities
Lead the business-driven implementation of INFORMATICA MDM and RDM in alignment with the data governance framework
Translate governance and business requirements into INFORMATICA configurations, including data models, workflows, and rules
Facilitate workshops with business owners and data stewards to validate master and reference data definitions
Define and maintain golden record rules, including match, merge, and survivorship logic within INFORMATICA
Own the functional and technical design of the INFORMATICA solution (MDM, RDM, stewardship workflows)
Review and validate INFORMATICA configurations, integrations, and data migration rules delivered by the implementation partner
Oversee data profiling, cleansing, deduplication, and quality validation to ensure trusted master data
Enable and support data stewards and business users in the operational use of INFORMATICA MDM/RDM
Job requirements
At least 7 years of experience in MDM/RDM, including a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with INFORMATICA MDM/RDM
Proven track record delivering INFORMATICA MDM implementations in complex environments
Strong expertise in INFORMATICA match & merge, survivorship, and golden record management
Experience designing and implementing INFORMATICA stewardship workflows
Ability to translate business requirements into technical INFORMATICA solutions
Experience working with system integrators and overseeing partner-led INFORMATICA deliveries
