Network and Security Administrator - 100 %

We are opening a position for a Network and Security Administrator to strengthen our client’s team based in Lyon. This role aims to enhance the unit’s expertise in IT networking to streamline operations and support project-related technical decisions.

Responsabilities

• Provide tier-2 support: handle escalated incidents, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate with tier-3 support.

• Manage, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure components (LAN, WAN, Data Center).

• Administer and support Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Zero-Trust Network Access (ZTNA) services.

• Oversee network security services including firewalls (up to layer 7), intrusion prevention systems, and DDoS protection.

• Act as a technical point of contact for ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management).

• Generate monthly reports on key performance indicators using standard reporting tools.

• Contribute to the improvement of tier-1 and tier-2 documentation (SOPs, knowledge base).

• Collaborate with the Information Security team to ensure compliance with internal security policies regarding data integrity, confidentiality, and secure access.

• At least five years of proven experience supporting enterprise-grade networks (LAN based on Cisco Catalyst Center, WAN based on Cisco FlexVPN, AAA based on Cisco Identity Services Engine).

• At least five years of proven experience supporting enterprise-grade Data Center networks based on Cisco Nexus technology.

• At least three years of relevant professional experience managing Application-Layer Firewall policies on Check Point technology.

• At least one year of relevant work experience implementing and operating Secure Access Service Edge technologies.

• Excellent understanding of routing and switching principles.

• Excellent knowledge of BGP, LISP and VXLAN applied to Software Defined Access.

• Excellent knowledge of SASE / Zero-Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles.

• Excellent understanding of Remote Access Service and Application Delivery technologies.

• Good working knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.

• Fluent professional English (spoken and written, CEFR level C1 or above).
