Job description
We are opening a position for an ICT Test Engineer to strengthen the team of our client based in Zurich. This role is part of a demanding technical environment, focused on system integration and test automation. The position involves close collaboration with development and quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability of delivered solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute technical test scenarios in the context of system integration.
Actively participate in software quality testing campaigns.
Perform interface testing (REST, SOAP, messaging systems).
Implement end-to-end automated integration tests (E2E).
Develop scripts for regression test automation.
Conduct technical tests on applications and systems, both manually and automated.
Document test results and analyze detected anomalies.
Contribute to benchmark projects by providing expertise in software validation.
Job requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, including technical and integration testing.
Strong experience in E2E and regression test automation.
Mastery of interface protocols such as REST and SOAP.
Proven experience in manual and automated testing on complex systems.
Ability to write clear test documentation and perform in-depth error analysis.
Knowledge of testing tools and continuous integration environments.
ISTQB certifications or equivalent are highly appreciated.
Prior involvement in benchmark projects in a similar role.
