Job description

We are opening a position for an ICT Architect to strengthen our client's team based in Zurich. This strategic role is part of complex and large-scale projects involving multiple organizational units and diverse IT environments. The position holder will be responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of computer systems, in collaboration with project teams and technical stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities

  • Define the technical architecture of complex IT projects.

  • Participate in planning and implementing solutions for large-scale projects (>1500 man-days, >2 years).

  • Ensure system coherence and integration in multi-unit environments.

  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure solution robustness.

  • Identify technical risks and propose optimization solutions.

  • Guide technological choices and ensure alignment with business needs.

  • Document architectures and ensure their scalability.

  • Contribute to flagship projects as an IT architecture expert.

Job requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT architecture in complex environments.

  • Proven experience in large-scale (>1500 man-days) and long-term (>2 years) projects.

  • Mastery of environments involving multiple organizational units and IT systems.

  • Strong skills in system design, integration, and technical governance.

  • In-depth knowledge of architecture standards and associated tools.

  • TOGAF, SAFe, or equivalent certifications highly recommended.

  • Ability to work in multicultural and distributed environments.

  • Prior involvement in flagship projects in an architect role.
