Context

We are opening a position for an Enterprise/IT Architect to strengthen the team of our client based in Berne. This position is part of a project aimed at supporting the IT strategy and governance within a BIT environment, with the objective of strengthening IT governance, improving coordination, and supporting the organization's long-term digital strategy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and continuously evolve the IT strategy and governance framework within the organization;

  • Design and implement governance structures, processes, roles, and decision-making bodies;

  • Ensure alignment between business needs and IT initiatives, particularly in terms of prioritization and portfolio management;

  • Advise senior stakeholders on strategic IT topics, governance models, and organizational improvements;

  • Support the establishment of transparent reporting mechanisms, performance tracking, and compliance;

  • Facilitate workshops, coordinate relevant stakeholders, and promote cross-functional collaboration;

  • Participate in change management and the adoption of new governance practices and processes.

Job requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of IT strategies and governance frameworks such as COBIT, TOGAF, or ITIL;

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing governance structures, processes, and decision-making bodies;

  • Ability to align business objectives with IT strategy;

  • Confirmed skills in stakeholder management and executive-level communication;

  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, with experience in organizational transformation and change management;

  • Knowledge of the public sector and regulatory requirements is a plus;

  • Excellent command of German (mandatory) and English.
