Job description

We are opening a position for a Data Analyst / Data Specialist (M/F) to strengthen a team committed to a high-level medical research program, based in Nyon. This role is part of a multidisciplinary environment combining data, science, and health, with a focus on structuring and advanced data exploitation in a demanding and evolving context.

Position Responsibilities

  • Analyze and exploit structured datasets, including longitudinal and potentially medical or sports data

  • Participate in structuring, validating, and documenting data (rules, definitions, quality)

  • Contribute to analytical projects related to research and innovation activities

  • Identify methodological limitations and propose improvements in data usage

  • Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to popularize analytical issues and results

  • Intervene in the development and improvement of platforms or tools related to data management

  • Monitor multiple projects in parallel with an organized and rigorous approach

  • Gradually support activities as an autonomous reference on data issues

Job requirements

  • Degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or equivalent field

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, data management, or research support

  • Good understanding of complex data (health, sports, or longitudinal data is an asset)

  • Developed analytical mindset with the ability to assess data quality and relevance

  • Proficiency in at least one analytical language or tool (R, Python, SQL, SPSS, or equivalent)

  • Comfortable with Microsoft office tools, especially Excel

  • Ability to work in a team while gradually gaining autonomy

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (French and/or German is an advantage)
