Job description

We are opening a position for a Cloud Azure Consultant to strengthen our client’s team based in Geneva. The role focuses on finalizing the implementation of an Azure Landing Zone, driving automation through Infrastructure as Code, and supporting development teams in adopting cloud best practices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess and validate the current Landing Zone setup (subscriptions, RBAC, policies, networking, and security baselines).

  • Define and refine core Landing Zone components, including management groups, governance structure, Azure Policies, Blueprints, and identity management.

  • Establish centralized monitoring, logging, cost management, and shared services (DNS, Bastion, Firewall).

  • Review and enhance current Infrastructure as Code practices, preferably using Bicep.

  • Build and maintain reusable deployment modules and templates.

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure delivery with tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

  • Document processes and produce deployment playbooks.

  • Organize workshops and working sessions with development teams to transfer knowledge and enable integration of applications into the Landing Zone.

Job requirements

  • Proven experience with Azure Landing Zone design, governance, and security standards.

  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (preferably Bicep, Terraform is a plus).

  • Hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

  • Good understanding of Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and identity management principles.

  • Familiarity with Azure-native services such as monitoring, Key Vault, networking, and private endpoints.

  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and architectural deliverables.

  • Strong communication skills for leading workshops and supporting development teams.

  • Experience in knowledge transfer and capability building within client teams.
