Solution Architect / Expert DevOps for our team
Job description
We are opening a position for a Solution Architect / Expert DevOps to strengthen our internal team of consultants. This strategic role involves supporting digital transformation projects, designing robust cloud architectures, and implementing innovative DevOps solutions for various clients and sectors. You will work on diverse missions, involving modern technologies and complex environments, while collaborating with our nearshore and offshore development teams.
Position Responsibilities
Design scalable and secure cloud architectures, mainly on AWS.
Lead infrastructure and application migration projects to cloud environments.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and configurations.
Ensure system security and environment compliance (OS hardening, advanced monitoring).
Administer Linux systems and implement containerization solutions (Docker, Podman).
Deploy monitoring tools and ensure availability of critical systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile teams to deliver reliable and high-performing solutions.
Ensure smooth and effective communication with our nearshore and offshore development platforms to guarantee deliverable consistency.
Job requirements
Proven experience (10+ years) in systems administration, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices.
Proficiency in AWS services and AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification highly desirable.
Strong automation skills (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform) and scripting (Shell).
Expertise in CI/CD and related tools (Jenkins, Bamboo).
In-depth knowledge of Linux systems (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and virtualized environments.
Familiarity with ITIL and PRINCE2 best practices for project management.
Excellent communication and adaptability in various contexts, including with nearshore/offshore teams.
Professional proficiency in English (oral and written), minimum level C1.
Residence in the canton of Geneva or Vaud required.
