Operational Business Analyst (3 months mission)

Job description

We are opening a position for an Operational Business Analyst to strengthen our client’s team based in Geneva. This role is part of a broader initiative aimed at structuring and optimizing training programs, with a focus on harmonizing processes, enhancing learner journeys, and defining a coherent and scalable operating model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather insights and understand current practices

  • Map end-to-end program lifecycles, from design and enrollment to delivery and evaluation

  • Review existing materials (course catalogs, activity plans, reporting templates) to detect inconsistencies and overlaps

  • Evaluate governance frameworks, roles, and decision-making processes

  • Assess the effectiveness and reliability of current data collection and reporting systems

  • Identify organizational gaps and recommend improvements aligned with industry best practices

  • Design a standardized framework including processes, tools, and operational procedures

  • Support implementation of the target operating model and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams

Job requirements

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Education Management, IT, Public Administration, or similar)

  • At least 7 years of experience in business analysis, program management, or organizational design

  • Proven experience in complex environments, ideally within international or academic institutions

  • Strong expertise in structuring programs and formalizing processes (SOPs, process mapping, frameworks)

  • Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management and change facilitation

  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable solutions

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and process modeling software (e.g., Visio)

  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
