Job description
Responsabilities
- Providing desktop support, investigating and diagnosing incidents relevant to external access and mobility services, video conferencing and printing services, etc
- Identifying client system problems, researching, recommending and implementing potential solutions
- Creating and managing Active Directory objects, producing scripts and templates to automate routine tasks, administering group policies, reporting on non-compliance events and performing regular security audits
- Designing robust and scalable solutions to establish client hardware and software standards across all client machines
- Reviewing the management of clients in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune, diagnosing client hardware and software problems, authorizing software distributions and monitoring non-standard software usage
- Implementing and reviewing desktop support processes and procedures
- Contributing to the endpoint architecture strategy, implementing the patch management policy and evaluating security updates for environment compatibility
- Performing tender technical evaluations and vendor assessments to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations, ensuring vendor performance is in accordance to contractual obligations, conducting annual vendor evaluations
Job requirements
- +5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Advanced knowledge of Windows 10/11 system administration and maintenance including deep knowledge of the registry, file system, processes, services, and security
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Workplace
- Incident management processes
- ITIL Foundation certification would be a plus
- Knowledge of Agile Project Management and/or DevOps would be a plus
- Experience within an international organization a plus
- Fluent in English and French
