Job description

We are opening a position of DevOps Engineer to strengthen the team of our client based in Geneva. This role focuses on developing and optimizing DevOps processes within a dynamic and challenging technical environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to integration, automation, and migration projects using modern tools and tailored strategies.

  • Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.

  • Draft and maintain clear, detailed technical documentation.

  • Implement and enhance automated workflows to simplify operational processes.

  • Apply Agile/DevOps principles in a collaborative work environment.

  • Propose innovative solutions to optimize existing practices and integrate modern technologies.

  • Ensure the application of best practices for sustainable development and cloud infrastructure management.

Job requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in software engineering or DevOps, ideally in an international or large company environment.

  • Advanced proficiency in English (C1 level).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Expertise in creating detailed and well-structured technical documentation.

  • Solid skills in workflow automation and process optimization.

  • In-depth knowledge of Agile/DevOps methodologies and tools.

  • Proficiency in software development lifecycle (SDLC) tools, including Git and artifact registries. Experience with GitLab and JFrog is a plus.

  • Advanced Python development skills, emphasizing sustainable and maintainable software practices.

  • Hands-on experience with Docker, AWS or GCP, Terraform, and Kubernetes. Certification in these areas is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible or equivalents.
