Job description
We are seeking a Data Governance & Enterprise Architect to strengthen the ICT Governance team of one of our clients in Nyon. This role plays a key part in ensuring that enterprise data is effectively governed, structured, integrated, and managed across multiple business and technology solutions while supporting the organization's digital transformation initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Define, review, and enhance conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting business and technology solutions.
Maintain and update enterprise data architecture artifacts, including data flows, lifecycle diagrams, interfaces, and business processes within the enterprise architecture repository.
Ensure consistency and alignment of master data and reference data across applications and platforms.
Contribute to the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
Partner with business stakeholders to document and maintain high-quality metadata and data catalog information.
Work closely with solution architects to ensure data-related solutions comply with established architectural principles and best practices.
Support the design of scalable and reliable data analytics and data science environments in collaboration with data specialists.
Foster collaboration across architecture, analytics, privacy, and business teams to promote effective data management practices.
Job requirements
Demonstrated experience in data governance, data management, and analytics initiatives.
Strong hands-on expertise with relational and non-relational databases, as well as modern data warehouse or data lake platforms.
Experience working with enterprise architecture solutions; familiarity with LeanIX is considered an advantage.
Solid understanding of data modeling methodologies and information architecture principles.
Proven ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into structured data solutions.
Strong problem-solving capabilities combined with a service-oriented and collaborative mindset.
Experience with data cataloging, metadata management, or governance platforms is highly desirable.
Knowledge of business process analysis and process modeling techniques is an asset.
