Job description
We are opening a position for a Technical Business Analyst to strengthen our client’s team based in Geneva. The role takes place in a demanding international environment, supporting complex systems handling a high volume of transactions, with strong expectations around reliability, service continuity, and progressive transformation toward a target IT architecture.
Responsibilities of the role
Analyze existing business processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and service quality improvements
Gather business needs and translate them into clear and structured functional specifications
Contribute to the definition and evolution of the current IT system as well as future solutions
Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure alignment between business expectations and system capabilities
Participate actively in testing phases to validate delivered functionalities
Support the transition between legacy systems and new platforms while ensuring operational continuity
Facilitate communication between stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution
Monitor and help optimize processes related to high-volume transaction handling
Job requirements
5-8 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst bridging business and IT teams
Strong ability to produce both functional and technical documentation
Solid knowledge of SQL for data analysis and querying
Understanding of application architectures and system interactions
Ability to engage effectively with technical experts without necessarily being a developer
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess problems from multiple perspectives
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Ability to manage priorities and perform effectively under pressure
