Job description

We are opening a position of System Requirement and Test Engineer to strengthen the team of our client based in Geneva .

Responsabilities :

  • Collaborate directly with the Product Owner and Agile team to understand product vision, roadmap priorities, and translate business requirements into technical solutions, fostering a continuous improvement mindset

  • Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement and sprint planning by providing technical insights and feasibility assessments

  • Create and manage requirements using industry-standard tools (DOORS, Polarion), ensuring complete traceability throughout the system lifecycle

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, including test plans and test cases

  • Provide expert-level technical support and incident investigation, working closely with maintenance teams and customers

  • Perform integration tests with multiple surrounding equipment/systems, both manually and through automation

  • Participate in formal system testing activities such as Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

  • Analyze and document issues/bugs in JIRA with precision and clarity

  • Maintain and update the Test Results Management tool

  • Actively participate and contribute to the "Testing" Community of Practice

Job requirements

  • Experience in Air Traffic Control or Air Traffic Management domain

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering and testing

  • Strong understanding of Systems Engineering lifecycle and standards

  • Proven experience in writing system requirements and extensive experience in system testing, particularly in complex system integration

  • Proficiency with systems engineering tools (DOORS, Polarion, JIRA, Confluence)

  • Knowledge of Python scripting for test automation (Squish framework)

  • Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkin

  • Proficiency with GitHub and source control practices

  • Fluent in English

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail

  • Knowledge of standards (ED-153, ED-109A, DO-178C) is a significant advantage
