Job description
We are opening a position for an ICT Test Manager to strengthen our client's team based in Zurich. This strategic role is part of complex and large-scale projects involving multiple organizational units and diverse IT environments. The position holder will be responsible for overall coordination of testing activities, in connection with project teams and technical stakeholders.
Position Responsibilities
Define and drive the testing strategy for large-scale projects (>1500 man-days) spanning multiple years.
Coordinate testing activities across different technical and business teams.
Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of testing campaigns.
Ensure deliverable quality in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Identify testing risks and propose mitigation plans.
Ensure traceability of requirements and test results.
Supervise internal and external testing teams.
Actively contribute to flagship projects as a quality manager.
Job requirements
Minimum 8 years of experience in test management for complex and long-term projects.
Proven experience in projects exceeding 1500 man-days and lasting more than 2 years.
Proficiency in environments involving multiple organizational units and IT systems.
Strong skills in interdisciplinary coordination and quality management.
In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies and associated tools.
ISTQB Advanced certifications or equivalent strongly recommended.
Ability to work in multicultural and distributed environments.
Prior involvement in flagship projects in a test management role.
