Job description
We are opening a position for a SAP Project Manager to strengthen the team of our client based in Geneva. This role is part of a broader initiative to prepare for the transition to SAP S/4, involving a technical Proof of Concept using a brownfield approach. The selected candidate will support the Project Management Office in coordinating technical activities, data cleansing, and discovery sessions, ensuring the program's success.
Responsibilities
Lead the preparation phase of the SAP S/4 program as project manager.
Define planning and approach for data cleansing and Proof of Concept (PoC) activities in collaboration with the management team and platform lead.
Coordinate and monitor project progress, assigning responsibilities and managing scope.
Oversee technical preparation activities in partnership with the technical team.
Design and facilitate discovery sessions for functional domains with the support of the management team.
Supervise the development and execution of the PoC in a sandbox environment.
Ensure deliverables meet SAP standards and are well-documented, including budget monitoring and reporting.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, risk identification, and timely escalation of issues.
Job requirements
Higher education degree (Business School or University) and training in SAP S/4.
Solid understanding of SAP implementation methodologies and S/4 conversion strategies.
Proven experience in leading SAP projects, ideally including S/4HANA migration.
International project delivery experience.
Background in consumer goods, fashion, or luxury sectors is an advantage.
Minimum of 10 years of successful experience as an SAP Project Manager.
Fluency in English (spoken and written).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong sense of collaboration and initiative.
Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong alignment with project and business teams.
Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
