Job description
The mission consists in performing the role of IT business analyst for Risk applications, in particular for subjects related to Balance Sheet Management, Value At Risk (VaR), Reconciliation and IRRBB / CSRBB regulations.
The candidate needs to have an extensive IT risk management banking background as well as a strong BA experience.
Main Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Team Lead of IT Risk, Credit & ESG, the consultant will work on risk application projects.
- Analyse regulation, business scenarios/cases and contribute to business / regulatory requirements definition. Eg : Impact of products evolution (Acumulator / Decumulator, Deposits, Credit and Mortgages) on the Balance Sheet Management (BSM) IT treatment
- Define Functional Design Specification.
- Manage vendor (FIS) application relationship (software package).
- Execute database scripts and queries (SQL) to validate data integrity and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
Install and test new versions of BSM and VaR Hedge Funds Applications and exploit the applications in production (batch error management).
- Liaise with the business to provide guidance from an IT point of view.
- Provide guidance for business analysts, developers, and testers assigned to the projects and ensure good project management practices are employed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify key risks and issues and define mitigation scenarios.
Job requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience
- Education : Master Degree in IT
- IT Business Analyst with strong technical and functional skills on Risk Management – FIS Balance Sheet Manager – Var HF & Reconciliation (based on MATLAB)
- Proficient in SQL and database scripting for risk data analytics.
- Good understanding of the bank’s business processes
- Good operational experience in the implementation of various IT Risk Management projects in banking or financial sectors related to risk management, VaR reconciliation, IRRBB (Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book) / CSRBB (Credit Spread Risk in the Banking Book) regulations.
- Good practice of IT BA activities and knowledge of IT project management
