Job description
We are opening a position for a Technical Test Lead to strengthen the team of our client based in Zurich. This key role focuses on complex integration platforms involving hybrid architectures and critical data flows, requiring a strong technical testing background and a cross-system perspective.
Job responsibilities
Define and drive the overall testing strategy for complex integration systems
Design test approaches for APIs, event-driven flows, and integration scenarios
Structure and orchestrate different test levels (integration, system, end-to-end)
Collaborate closely with architecture, DevOps, and business teams to ensure testable solutions
Coordinate and ensure the overall quality of testing activities
Coach and support teams on testing best practices and automation strategies
Act as a technical reference and support for the test management function
Job requirements
Proven experience as a Technical Test Lead or Technical Test Manager in complex system environments
Strong expertise in API and integration testing (REST, authentication, API gateways)
Experience with event-driven and streaming architectures (e.g. Kafka)
Knowledge of data integration and flow management platforms
Solid understanding of cloud and hybrid architectures, ideally on Microsoft Azure
Ability to translate architectural designs into concrete test strategies and test cases
Experience working in scaled agile environments (e.g. SAFe)
Excellent communication, coordination, and team coaching skills
