IT Project Manager

We are opening a position for an IT Project Manager to strengthen the team of our client based in the canton of Zurich. The mission is to manage high-stakes IT projects within a public administration, in close collaboration with business units and technical teams.

Position Responsibilities

• Structure, plan, and lead IT projects in a demanding administrative framework.

• Organize and facilitate workshops with business teams to gather and clarify functional requirements.

• Describe and document existing processes (AS-IS) as well as target processes (TO-BE).

• Monitor the progress of deliverables and ensure the quality of the results provided.

• Coordinate various internal and external stakeholders, including in cross-functional initiatives.

• Prepare decision-making documents and propose implementation strategies.

• Ensure compliance with governance standards and methodologies applied within the administration.

• Solid knowledge of business management, ideally acquired in a public sector environment.

• Proven experience in managing significant IT projects.

• Mastery of project management methodologies, particularly HERMES.

• Strong ability to analyze needs, structure information, and coordinate multiple stakeholders.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex issues.

• Proven ability to translate business needs into operational requirements.

• Proficiency in German at level C1, in line with required standards.
