Job description
We are opening a Business Analyst position to strengthen our client's team based in the canton of Zurich. The mission is to support the public administration in analyzing its business processes, defining needs, and evolving its internal applications.
Position Responsibilities
Facilitate workshops to understand operational challenges, identify issues, and gather stakeholders' expectations.
Review and map existing processes, then design target processes to optimize activities.
Write detailed functional specifications as a basis for development teams.
Formalize business requirements and technical constraints necessary for implementing solutions.
Use innovative approaches such as Design Thinking to enhance proposals.
Facilitate communication between business and IT teams to ensure mutual understanding.
Prepare documentation and materials necessary for user training.
Actively participate in change management actions to ensure smooth adoption of new solutions.
Job requirements
Solid experience in Business Analysis in complex environments.
Very good command of modeling tools and standards (BPMN, UML, requirements gathering tools).
Ability to identify process dysfunctions and propose realistic and effective improvements.
Confirmed knowledge in data modeling and structuring.
Methodological rigor, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
Interpersonal skills enabling effective interaction with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in German at level C1 according to market criteria.
