Job description
In order to strengthen our client's teams in Geneva, we are opening a System Administrator role.
Responsabilities
- Monitoring, maintaining, tuning, and ensuring highest possible uptime for web platforms services
- Maintaining web environment by identifying system requirements, installing upgrades and monitoring system performance
- Establishing web system specifications by analyzing access, information and security requirements and designing system infrastructure
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing websites related issues affecting end users escalated by the Service Desk and User Support teams
- Securing web system by developing system access, monitoring, control and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures
- Supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery methodology
- Interacting with service providers for ongoing support and operations as well as project implementation tasks
- Participating in the design and installation phases of new projects, in consultation with the direct supervisor
- Maintaining a comprehensive and up to date documentation that include system and operational policies and procedures
- Keeping abreast of good practices, new trends and technologies and evaluate these for possible adoption
- Performing other relevant duties as assigned
Job requirements
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Expertise in Reverse Proxy platform (HAProxy) and certificate Management is mandatory
- Knowledge of CMS like Drupal is appreciated
- Familiar with working on cloud hosting platforms
- Comfortable with SSO protocols (SAML, OpenID Connect)
- Proficient in web-based protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, PHP
- Proficient with Windows and Linux servers administration, including scripting
- Proficiency on CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent knowledge of monitoring and troubleshooting Web platforms
- Fluent in English and French
