Job description

To join the team of our client, a worldwide organisation based in Geneva, we are looking for a Technical Business Analyst.

Responsabilities

  • Analyze business requirements and related solution designs to create required individual action tickets and clarify requirements as necessary through consultation with business representatives and solution designers.
  • Ensure that impacts of proposed changes on process and data designs are properly reflected in requirements documents and missing or inconsistent information clarified.
  • Produce functional and non-functional specifications necessary for implementation in line with target solutions.
  • Liaise with business representatives, stakeholders and developers to ensure validity of inputs to business analysis tasks and validate outputs.
  • Participate in functional and business testing.

Job requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT improvement projects with direct business impact by using industry standard methodologies and tools, in business analysis, ticket management, quality assurance and testing roles.
  • Business analysis, specifically translating user stories and solution design into individual work packages.
  • Experience with relevant technology stack, namely Java and including Oracle.
  • Experience with web-service based solutions and related technologies.
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment, including related tools (e.g. Jira, qTest).
  • Experience in quality assurance tasks, including creating and executing testing procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written. French communication skills are desirable.
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus
